07 / Operators
Every machine comes with its own operator
We do not hand over keys. Each machine goes out with a trained, certified operator who stays with that machine - so one person is accountable for how it is run, how it is looked after, and how it comes back. We prefer it that way, and so will your site agent.
Nothing on the board matches that job - ask us directly and we'll tell you straight whether we can do it.
Short and long-term contracts. Machines are maintained and serviced before they leave the yard, and we quote competitive rates for the hire period you actually need - a day, a month, or the length of the project. Not on the board? Ask anyway - we cross hire plant both bigger and smaller than our own, and manage it as part of the same job.

Three things that decide whether a hire goes well
None of them is the hourly rate. They are whether the machine works, whether it turns up, and whether the person in the seat knows what they are doing.
A machine that starts on Monday morning
Our plant is maintained and serviced before it leaves the yard, not after you phone to say it is standing. A machine that breaks down on day one does not cost you a day's hire - it costs you the crew, the trucks and the programme that were waiting on it.
On site when we said, not when it suits us
We run our own rollbacks for machinery transport and breakdown recovery, so getting the plant to you is not subcontracted out and hoped for. It also means that if something does go down mid-job, the recovery call is to the same number you booked on.
One operator, one machine, one person accountable
Every machine leaves the yard with its own trained, certified operator, and we prefer it that way - a dedicated person stays responsible for how that machine is run, how it is looked after and how it comes back. You are not inheriting a stranger's damage, and we are not guessing who was in the seat.
